You can change the default keymapping between the keyboard and
the function keys on the calculator. To do this, choose 窶廢dit
key equivalents...窶 from the Options menu. You will see a
dialog box with a depiction of your keyboard and a list of all
the functions available on the calculator.
窶「 The functions list appears in the upper right corner.
Those functions that currently have equivalents somewhere on
the keyboard are outlined with a gray rectangle.
窶「 The keyboard picture is along the bottom of the dialog box.
Keys that are in use show up in light gray. Those that don窶冲
have key equivalents yet are white.
窶「 You can find out what function a particular key on the
keyboard represents by clicking the key with the mouse, or
by typing the corresponding key on the keyboard. In either
case, the function equivalent will be highlighted.
窶「 To make a key equivalent, click on the function you want in
the functions box, and drag it on top of the desired key.
Remember that a key can have only one equivalent, but many
different keys can represent the same function.
窶「 To remove a key equivalent from a particular key, drag the
gray box from the functions panel onto the key. The key will
turn white, indicating that it no longer has an equivalent.
窶「 To save your changes, click the Done button. If you don窶冲
want to save changes, click on the Cancel button.
窶「 If you want to get the default mapping again, you can throw
out the preferences file within the System folder. This will
also remove any memory locations you may have saved, so don窶冲
do it regularly.
Future versions of the calculator will allow you to rearrange
the layout of the functions on the calculator itself.
